Amman, Jordan: As part of its commitment to raising cancer awareness, Bank ABC in Jordan hosted the Hope Shop at its Head Office in collaboration with the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF). The event coincided with the Breast Cancer Awareness Month campaigns launched annually by the foundation in October.
This initiative reflects the Bank’s dedication to promoting health awareness among its employees and encouraging their involvement in supporting health institutions. Various products from the Hope Shop were offered at affordable prices to support cancer patients, with all proceeds directed toward the treatment of financially disadvantaged patients at the King Hussein Cancer Centre.
Commenting on the initiative, Mr. George Farah Sofia, General Manager of Bank ABC in Jordan, stated: “We emphasise the importance of raising cancer awareness and supporting efforts to combat it. We are proud of our employees’ participation in this initiative, which demonstrates the Bank’s commitment to fostering a culture of social responsibility and contributing to the treatment of financially disadvantaged patients at the King Hussein Cancer Centre.”
